    4. Check the Weather:\u00a0<\/strong>Clear skies are crucial for eclipse viewing. Check the forecast and have a backup plan if necessary. Live video of the event is a safe bet for watching a total eclipse.<\/li>\n
    5. Have a Plan to Protect Your Eyes:<\/strong>\u00a0Obtain\u00a0ISO-certified solar viewing glasses<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0to safely watch the eclipse. Regular sunglasses are\u00a0not safe\u00a0for viewing the sun. If you are watching the partial eclipse, you must protect your eyes during the entire event.
